About Us

The purpose of this blog is not to bash baby mothers or men with kids who move on to new relationships. It’s more so a safe place for step mothers who are out here trying to do right and can’t seem to shake the bullshit. Everyone talks about how hard it is as a single mother, but no one tells you how hard it is to be a step mother. Throughout our experience it is our hope to provide a sense of relief to others in our position but to also make it known that a blended family is needed in this day and age.

4 years in this game and I can tell you this ain’t for the weak minded! Although the experience has been fun I will say challenges have arised leaving me feeling frustrated and alone. Knowing what I know now I feel obligated to create a space for women like myself-so we can encourage everyone to grow and be happy on this earth. I hope you guys will enjoy.

Becoming a step mom was the thing absolutely no one prepared me for going into my marriage. All I can say is it has been a journey — one that you will hear much more about here!

While this platform will probably initially serve as an outlet for me to vent, it is my hope that it will ultimately 1) bring awareness to the fact that being a step parent can be extremely difficult (or enjoyable 😊) and 2) encourage healthier relationships between ALL parties involved in blended families.
